I’m about a third of the way through Sisters Singing, and I want you to know how much I appreciate its strong, affirming, open theme—personal and broad at the same time. I like reading the little bios of the women at the end, too. Thanks so much — it’s been a comforting accompaniment to my “recovery” -- a few pieces now and then at night before settling down to sleep — maybe even paving a path to the quiet, introspective time.
